IBD RS versus QRS: I have noticed that there are often huge differences between the RS rating in Investor's Business Daily and the QRS rating. For example BRKT has an IBD RS of 32 while it has a QRS above 80!!! I was under the impression that the values were calculated in a similar manner, but apparently that's not the case. Do any of you understand how the formulas differ, and/or do you have any opinions on which rating is more helpful. A QRS rating of above 80 would lead you to believe that BRKT is a moderate momentum play and a decent growth stock. The same stock looked at through the IBD RS prism appears to be a severe underperformer. Any thoughts??
