When I said the AOL/NSCP deal would be good for OS, I guess I should have said I was being sarcastic. Sorry about that.

I was just thinking that if a more powerful AOL was good news for its competitors (note that all the internet portals were bid up significantly), it should also be good for companies which have nothing to do with the internet. Makes as much sense as anything else, doesn't it?

By the way, can you explain to me why AOL's competitors went up on the news of the AOL/NSCP deal?

There is still plenty of time for the market to carry the OS stocks higher. I suspect a huge rally in overseas markets tonight to help celebrate the new highs here. That should create a big rally in the futures overnight, which should move the market up substantially tomorrow.
