Steve,
>>Seriously thinking of unloading some if we gap up tomorrow.<<
Maybe if we gap up. But, I'll be ready to buy back, because after today, to me it's obvious that anothe dimension is in the market taking everything up, especially stocks that have and are establishing a good reputation.
>> then followed by a down drop for a couple of days, before stabalizing.<<
I know, but I waited for some down days, and it didn't help me. I missed a few points on the way up. We have retraced or filled the gap or whatever. For the moment it's new rules. All we can do is keep focused and try to be aware of what's happening, and if we see the train is backing up we'll get off.
It now seems like there's "pure momentum" in the market that can carry us a long way. At this point, I'd rather keep going forward a little while longer, even if I miss a few points getting off late when it appears we are backtracking. This momentum has the potential to really sweep us up, IMO.
>>get up to around $44, the stock will retrace to $37,<<
I don't know about $44, but at some time in the future we'll have a pullback. But who knows if it will go back to $37?
>> I'm gonna have to watch this one real close<<
exactly, only thing we can do.
>>Moved my stop loss up though.. now at $41.25 instead of $40.25.. so I'm assured of more profit, I would advise you to do the same.<<
yep, thanks. I'll be moving my stop loss 2 or 3 times a day at the rate we're moving.<g>
Just think, every short in the book must be covering his butt at this moment. Every casual investor who looks at the newspaper will see that we broke the DOW and will want to get in. When I go home tonight, friends and family will call me to ask if it's a good time to get in the market. There doesn't seem like there will be much tax selling. Another rate-cut is a very good posibility. The rest of the world is cutting rates. COMS business is getting better and better. Did you read that alliance with INTC and COMS concerning NICs? I haven't read it but, from the headlines it looks good. All the reports on demand for network equipment are better than expected.
This market is going up, there's no stopping it. We'll just make the best of it. It's been a long time coming for COMS diehards.
Can't wait till tomorrow!!<G>.
