This kinda reminds me of the days back in to 70's when C-B radio was HOT, and people had linear amplifiers to boost output wattage. The FCC cracked down on the Linear Sellers, and told them they were illegal to sell. The sellers got around it by selling the little 'jumper cable' (like a cable that would go from your VCR to your TV) for $125.00, and throwing the linear amp in for free.......
