As with the "rule of law", I don't know what to think. I have been wrong so many times that I have begun to distrust my own judgement. The market should, IMO, not have gone up after July, certainly by as much as it did, but it did. The dollar should not have fallen by 20% against the yen but it did. Gold should have penetrated $300 but it didn't. What I am saying is that there seem to be powerful contrariwise forces operating. Certainly contrary to the way I think.

PS. I also wanted a Triumph but couldn't afford one and my father wouldn't buy me one, so I had to settle for a Vespa!!

Re 115mph and death, I guess it's all a matter of how well you ride the bike. Some have been killed at 30mph and others can race at 200!!
