Bill, In Germany it is usual that the major banks and insurances not only own hundreds and thousands of houses formerly pledged against subs, but big stakes in Daimler, BMW, VEBA, Siemens, steel factories and on each other... C. This may be a big problem and hurt prices of both Daimler (anticipating a disposal) and BT.
