MileHigh: At a 1% royalty (which is higher than it will probably be under high volumes), the licensed product production would have to be $50 billion to result in the revenues Cowan envisions. This is three times 100% of the worldwide DRAM production envisioned in UncleWest's reference. Did Cowan explain how they came up with their number? It would be very instructive to know more about this.

To put $50 billion in perspective, note that Micron's total revenues for all semiconductor memory products for the fiscal year ending 3Sep98 were less than $1.4 billion.
