>>Is it going to replace your PC, or just in addition?<<
For many it will completely replace the PC altogether, but for just as many it will complement it. Those that want to do simple things like e-mail video conferencing , bill paying , browsing the web will most likely go the "appliance route" . Those such as yourself will never "step down" to the appliance as a replacement for the PC.

>> Can it be true people will buy them IN ADDITION TO the PC that they need to have?<<

Absolutely, that is being counted on. BUT, as the PC cost goes down further, there will be much more money made on content than the actual hardware. The TV is a great example of this. The telephone and cell phone are also testaments to this law of hardware vs. content. "As the hardware matures, the content comes to the forefront."
