David, <<I am not answering for Mr. Pink, but I read your comment re: the Merrill slip-up. >> Thank you for responding, I've followed your comments for a year and you know your business. The purchases were made in early October. Not sure if we could have the shares backed out at this point also they've increased slightly in value, to expedite the situation she could sell the shares in question. (They're in an IRA account so tax consequences aren't an issue.) Any thought about the quality of Conseco as a stock? I know certain tech stocks very well but their business is murky to me.
