Rob,

I read with interest your response to Ken, and wanted to add my 2 cents worth.

I calculate your profits on CBA to be approximately $13k... Not too bad on a minimal investment.

A couple of comments regarding CBA's president. You imply that he hyped the stock and single handedly drove the price to $13, and that he would do so again in order to make money off investors. It seems to me that if this statement were true, that he would have had to sold some of his shares. Pull CBA's file at the commission and you will discover that he hasn't sold ONE share. As far as his 'cronies' are concerned... who are you referring to? If there is anything unsavory in their business history I would be interested in hearing about it. I can't personally vouch for anybody, and their lawyer certainly didn't appear to make any good friends at the last AGM, but where's your evidence that anybody's crooked?

I am drawing a conclusion that you are enjoying being invested in Corriente, and that since you refer to them as a good and legitimate company, that your experience with CBA leaves you feeling that they (CBA)are a bad and illegitimate company. Really? Based on what? Nothing to show for their once $13 stock?? They haven't sold a property.. haven't written anything off that I know of. Seems to me that their assets are unchanged. On what do you base your comments?

You want to be SCARED.. be sitting there with TBT shares in your portfolio and watch the shares drop from $30 to $1. Then you can bitch. (on the other hand.. a person could have sold at $30, and still be laughing right?? that's what this whole deal is about). Refer to your note to Ken where you mention your baptism into risky and speculative investments. Might I suggest you take your $13k, times whatever you have profitted by way of Corriente and invest in GICs?

Lastly... you mention that the BS'ing pres of CBA seems to be working out of his basement. Before Walsh bought his building on 14th St.; before he commissioned his great big brass letters shining on the front, he worked out of his basement. FACT.

Let's just hope that Ken laughs last.
