I got your E mail on your subscription list yesterday . I read about the multi-tens-of-thousands New Square Foot Area Complex in the Northern Miner in Fall 1996 which is not now searchable but if anyone bot the Archieve Disks that the NM just started selling it will be listed as Newmont and Carbon Pad Recovery Circuits, maybe it was under Santa Fe that they took over at a Eastern Nevada Location near one of my mines of Hard Rock as we call it incorrectly. That is what drew me to the area. I would like to read that article again. carbon is noe interwined with the new process engineering of what is coined as newtech, there is nothing innovative about it. Just like Cusac, nothing will improve but performance; so what do they do. Have dual plays that are not really WEATHER ( Old Timers Slump is passee now)as they have Mexico, and the Logan Property possibilites as well as ramp up for the Ponds and Piles. That is money in the bank waiting to become gold. The politiacl risk of underveloped countries is now watched and commented on today by that Bacon Bits newsletter inthe Y2K section as PARAMOUNT to this years investing decisions as the "fixes " will happen to the Developed Mostly World first ( US, can Mex IMHO) and the underdeveloped countries will wane and struggle with insuing disruptioins in electricty and hard core industries. China and Asia, watchout in 2000. But in the Americas, sweet sailing.
