RE: Declining Price... Profit Taking?

>> Anyone have opinion on decline in price today? Profit taking? <<

Actually, it's probably related to the upcoming SyQuest announcement. Last week, they said that they had a buyer of most of their assets and intellectual property and that the decision should be final by 11/25 (this Wednesday).

The way I see it, there are three possible outcomes:

1) Someone other than Iomega is the buyer. This will be looked on as bad for Iomega.
2) Iomega is the buyer, and they paid "too much". This will also be bad.
3) Iomega is the buyer, and they got a good deal. This is the only good possibility for Iomega.

It sounds like a lot of people are betting that the news won't be good for Iomega. I'm willing to ride it out myself. JMHO.
