ahhaha, let me state how much I appreciate your efforts to help 'conceptualize' via the use of good metaphors, ....without your timely analogies I would indeed be clueless in my efforts to 'visualize' SR's claims. The allusion to M Theory was simply meant to provoke & provide a reminder, that indeed, many of the foundational blocks we ascribe to 'quanta reality' are currently incomplete, & that much of the current scientific 'mythos' utilized to describe such phenomena will be 'turned on its head' w/the advent of an 'inclusive theory' such as M may provide. Such a world of 'elemental' multiplicity & paradox will certainly force a revisioning of many of the reductionistic ie...subject/object, & isolating ie...cause/effect relationships currently ascribed to by both the hard & soft sciences as a more subtle & incongruous worldview is envisioned.
