AOL, Netscape, Sun and IDX?

Sun will sell $500 million of heavy-duty computers and services to AOL over three years.

Scott McNealy, CEO of Sun, said AOL will use Sun technology to enable users to log onto the service from anywhere, including "nomadic devices and cell phones. " Users will be able to use Java-embedded "smart cards" to log onto AOL from anywhere, he said.
