So for anyone wondering whether to buy or sell AMAT, the thing to do is to ignore anything relevant to the company. There's no point in reading company news releases or SEC filings, listening to company conference calls, reading the zillions of posts in the AMAT thread, or any of that. The stock is just the SOX, and nothing else. Now tell me why this surprises you? It's about as shocking as saying retail sales correlate with income or swimsuit sales track the weather. You must have a low tolerance for surprise.<g> -Robert
