Scheb, Just as the link states, it is a machine / system that prepares samples for Transmission Electron Micrographs. Below about 1 micron it becomes very difficult to use optical microscopes to see what your making. Preparing TEM samples is a specialized task. It will be nice to have a box where you can pop a wafer in one end (for example) and get a prepared TEM sample out the other. TEM's can be used to look down to almost the atom assembly of device structures. I'm not any kind of an expert on this, see any replies for further clarification.
