("BioMed"), has already received orders totaling more than $1.5 million from several healthcare providers to assist them in evaluating medical devices for Year 2000 ("Y2K") compliance.
In April 1998, BioMed created a software system called BioMed Y2K One(tm) that offers a combination of tools and services to support healthcare institutions' efforts to establish Y2K compliance for their biomedical devices.
BioMed Y2K, Inc. has been selected by some of the nation's most prestigious facilities, including Cleveland Clinic, Westchester County Hospital (New York) and Vencor, Inc. In addition to this group, several other hospitals have selected BioMed for their Y2K compliance work.
