There's no question they would seek to counteract recent bad press, and the details are indeed a little "fuzzy". I have to believe though the company is refocusing on it's core strengths, and PR related to the aerospace and defense contracts would seem (to me)a big positive.

They're still out there getting business, they know they have problems in bringing their various entities together, and yes, quietly behind the scenes scores of companies are FLOCKING to BAAN for integrated systems that no one else has.

I think this sector suffers from a total lack of understanding in just how much money is involved. I have to be somewhat "reserved" in what I say because the company I work for is in the middle of a very BAAN rollout. My company is banking heavily on BAAN...like many "conservative" companies we don't rush out and buy the 1st thing to come along. Part of the expense is lengthy analysis and test models, and this takes time. When a company charges as much as BAAN does for it's products/services, and brings in thousands of site licenses at a time, and then I see #'s like what today's PR says in their "cherry" sector, I am very bullish on what the next qtr might bring.

Anyway, I feel good about BAAN, pretty obvious....we'll see!
