Hi Bobcat,

I wondered about why the CEO wouldn't have simply bought up
shares to get him over 50% ownership when the stock was at $10.
My broker immediately suggested that people don't do that because
it costs them their own money. If they make a make a formal bid,
then they can do the whole deal on financing.

As for their core business, their Precision Systems group is
in a field with explosive growth right now, i.e. precision
opto-mechanical assemblies for military and civilian space
applications. Albeit, this does not amount to a large amount
of the Axsys bottom line, but it is growing.

By the way, nice trade. I was stupid enough not to catch the
market open on Monday morning assuming that the stock would
open near 15. (Any stock with reasonable liquidity would open
near an takeover offer price.)
