IKE: re: JPN index; I bought closed end fund, trades on NYSE as JEQ; I charted it against the JPN index, and it has outperformed over past 6 months, and is more conservative than index options.
I looked at JPNLK this AM after your 2x close +14700 was reached last night; put in order to buy at 4 1/2 ; not filled yet; Interestingly,
this option, a DEC 155 Call, dropped about 20% in value after the strong close on Nikkei overnite, maybe the Reuters story about losses
at Japan banks brought JPN near term calls down.
Still not confident to execute your multifaceted trades, selling/buying puts and calls, so I'll simply try to follow the jist of your market calls with a plain vanilla vehicle(ggg)
Also, I looked at the price of April AMZN puts, WOW; you surely have
a lot of profits to play these; e.g. ZQNPR(AMZN April @190 Put)
Ask @$34 per contract.
Do you think a speculative splurge for this range of strike/expiry might be worth a spin? It seems the spiral in share price of AMZN is fueled by shorts and put buyers.
Interesting phenomenon, no?
Thanks for heads up on Japan.
