Re: PSFT dead in the water yesterday.

Yes. And during a huge rally. And today it went down and stayed down, even when the NAZ rallied nicely intra-day. I'm wondering if this perhaps signifies tax loss selling by folks who want to get back into the stock very early in January, in order to be ready for what they expect to be rally-time. If so, they have to sell during these last four trading days in November so that the 31 day wash rule period runs by the end of December and lets them back in with a readjusted basis in January.

Just speculation of course, but there's usually a reason for price moves contrary to the market, and I can't find any news, except for The Street.Com panning the spinoff, but that was Friday, old news.

Or is this just residual discomfort with the option repricing?
Or just another meaningless, low-noise, no-trend-whatsoever kind of movement?

Oh well. But, if the first guess is correct, we're lower, at least till December. Cheerful little thought.
