It never did make sense to me.... Why spend the resources to develop SVCD or CVD players and titles when DVD's prices will drop quickly. You post seems to be just more confirmation of that. techstocks.com "Anyway, next year they'll be buying DVD instead. The cost are already down to the point where this whole CVD vs SVCD battle could just go away."
