Polishing, waxing, and techniques: This has been a very interesting exchange between the list members. I'm glad I stumbled onto this thread.

You mentioned well-laundered diapers. Where do you find them? Are there still old-time cloth diaper services around that sell old worn-out cloths? What else can you use besides diapers and old, soft terry cloth towels?

Terry cloth to me sounds a bit harsh for a beautiful paint job.. The towels I use for toweling off after a shower often are NOT soft. They often feel stiff and almost abrasive. Is there a brand of terry cloth that softens with age and washings?
