Changing margin requirements will kill the MM's.
Just look at it this way, there are a lot of people short all these inty stocks and are hanging by the nails. Most people you would think bought it 50% lower than where it is now, so they prob have 75% or so margin already. But the shorts have only around 25-50% margin left. These stocks will easily double if margin requirements are changed and would be much harder to short.
