Michael, This extreme world wide bearishness concerning oil is creating an opportunity. The scenario that I hope unfolds sees daily world oil production falling by up to 10% due to the year 2000 problem.This disruption could last several months in critical producing countries. Ten percent of 72million barrels a day could spike oil back up to $30. Only the potential for disruption could cause traders to start bidding up oil by late 1999. It would be interesting to know how much effort has gone into fixing the year 2000 problem in Mexico,Iran,Iraq or Venezuala. Richard
