Seems like tech quals keep on coming!!
It is my understanding that RDRT has been shipping 4.3 GB product to WDC and Samsung as well Maxtor for awhile now.
The quals i am waiting for will hopefully come from SEG, QNTM and Fujitsu

MILPITAS, CA -- November 24, 1998 -- Read-Rite Corporation (NASDAQ:
RDRT) has promoted Al Climent age 36, to vice president and general manager
of its Maxtor business unit, according to Jim Murphy, senior vice president,
customer business units.
Climent joined Read-Rite in September 1992 as a strategic account manager
and was promoted to general manager of the Micropolis business unit in
November 1996. In 1997, he became general manager of the Maxtor business
unit, "and was instrumental in establishing a very successful business
partnership" with the hard disk drive maker, Murphy explained.
Prior to joining Read-Rite, Al spent several years at Amdahl Corporation in
a variety of management positions including engineering, manufacturing
operations and marketing product planning. He holds a BS degree in
Industrial Engineering from Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo, as well as an MBA from
St. Mary's College in Moraga.
