OFF TOPIC: RE: Schwab slow fills

Dave, I seem to have the same problem. I did well in MALL today but would have made thousands more dollars if Schwab had been fair.

Placed order to buy 500 shares MALL at 35 7/8 when bid/ask was 35 by 35 3/8. One minute after confirmed order placed, trade went through at 35 7/16. Then a series of trades over next two minutes at 35 7/8. I DID NOT GET FILLED.

I showed Schwab time and tape and their TEAM agreed I should have been filled UNLESS OF COURSE the order was delayed by Schwab in reaching the trading floor.

Of course, they then RESEARCHED IT and stated my order was delayed by Schwab and once it did reach the floor 3 minutes later,
the price had risen.

I then placed an order at 3:58 to buy 450 shares of Mall at 34 1/2 [1/4 above the ask]. The schwab order screen took 2 minutes to process the order and it read time of 1600. The order was accepted and came back "nothing done". Schwab $%#^sss!!

I hear ETrade must give you a report in 30 seconds or something, or else the commision is waived. { I also have a seperate acct with Brown and Co. and this seems much better in all respects}. I wd like to see Level II quotes.

ANYONE have recommendations??
