Now there's a scary thought buddy!
I'll probably end up fallin' apart and have to be locked up or something!
What would I worry about? What would I lose sleep over? I'd have no reason to get up in the morning and throw up! BTW! If you haven't noticed even my bright side is dark.
John, We are gonna see that day though when we're all in the green on this one! My post will probably be nothing but meaningless dribble(More so than now) when that day comes!
I can tell you this though! When it does happen? I'm callin' the travel agent and I'm goin' to Reno!!
The other thing I've thought about is this: If anyone ever comes to my house after this(And I've made some good money on my investment in PAIR?) and says to me! "It must be nice to hang around the house and make money not doin' nothin!" John! I'm gonna have to hurt them REAL bad!!
This is the HARDEST I have ever worked in my life! Between keepin' the brokerage account above water and side steppin' about three margin calls, losin' 800 shares to the margin monster!! Buddy this is WORK!! But I have to say! I've loved it every day! Gettin' up and seein' what the hell is gonna get thrown at us next!!
Some of it has scared the hell out of me and some of it has been so weird it's unbelievable!
Lastly? I gotta say in spite of everything? I've learned more about investing and the markets, between the information shared by people on the thread and books and articles people have suggested. I've learned more in the last 18 months than I did in 6 years of college!
I really agree with Alex Elder, "Trading for a Living". Where he talks about trading being a means of finding out who you really are and what you're really about as a person (Self discovery)!
Man John! This guy hit the nail on the head! Ya think you're confident? Think ya got a cool head? Try latchin' on to a stock like PAIR! Then we can find out what we're really made of!! Every bit of insecurity,self doubt,fear, and any other human weakness will rear it's ugly head! YOW!!
To those who have been here through all of this? I'm sure there are lots of people who would call hanging in STUPID!! However! I, like a lot of others bought PAIR on fundamentals! THose haven't changed! So to bail out and take a severe loss would go against what I have learned about investing and trading! So! I haven't budged! Here again! I'm sure a lot of people would call this STUPID! But it's like I heard Joey Gallow say one time in an interview(Gallow was a hit man for the mob)"I may have learned everything I know, the hard way! BUT! I've LEARNED!!"
To me John! If I'm not learning? I'M DEAD! The money is nice(don't get me wrong). But with out the wisdom and knowledge about life I've gained? The quality of life is Marginal!!!
I may end up living in a refrigerator box!! But! I'll know how the hell I got there and it will be by my choices and my hand!! Not because I was afraid to make choices and take responsibility for those choices!!! The rest of the world didn't put me there! I DID!!!
So Hang Tuff John and Thanks to everyone who has helped me learn!
I haven't said thanks for a while so I just figured I take time to remind all the people that have helped me Hang In that I do appreciate it! It's been a tough 18 to 24 months! I don't even remember how long it has been! It seems like a couple of life times!!
