Joe, This is great news - Check out message #142 + #184-maybe someone was actually reading this thread - I have been pounding on the table for a long time about a collaboration between QDEL and Proctor + Gamble on H. pylori products!!! I'm not sure what the terms of the deal are (not released) - Quite frankly, I don't care if QDEL is giving away free samples for P + G to distribute-in the long run it will pay off handsomely- P+G is aggressively pushing its Helidac product and because of its price and packaging advantages over other approved treatments, I expect it to capture the lion's share of the market--and P+G could sell horse poop to a racetrack-these guys know how to promote and sell- I know- I almost became brand manager for them when I graduated from Xavier U. in 1975 in Cincinnati. This agreement is nothing but good news which will hopefully be followed by more good news on 1-23-97 (earnings!). BOB
