For the last year we have all hoped that NYRR would get $4.75 million from the government to spend on improving the physical plant. The recent press release stated that Liberty Transmodal would seek $6 to $7 million for plant improvements to support their operation.

The questions to ask might include:

1) Are we facing MORE dilution even after the last $1.75 million right after a promise from Greg of NO MORE DILUTION until profitable operations?

2) Where is the govt money? Are they still expecting it, and is it included in the $6-7 million?

3) Will the $6-7 million be contributed equally by the two companies, and will it be debt or equity financing?

I know these questions are redundant. Sometimes you have to ask a question 3 times to get one non-contradictory answer.

On a more positive note let me comment on Bob Bently. Bob Bently recreated the Mass Central with the intermodal facility that he built. I think he is doing the same thing with NYCH. It is to Bob Crawford's credit that he brought in a motivated railroad builder.
Regardless of dilution, I think we are going to see them turn a horse drawn milk wagon into a pipeline flowing intermodal containers. It is going to be a win-win result for us all. I was planning on selling when my July repurchase crawled back to 0.25. Now I am having second thoughts, and I am going to ask Jack what to do at 25.
