All,

I have had good luck with APC UPS's except for battery failure. They have honored there warranty in several circumstances, tech support and return merchandise support is always good. Lately I have been using Viewsonic OptiUPS's for much less money and they have better software (no experience with warranty or insurance claims as I have never had a failure with theirs). Clarence. a 650 should be more than enough for any PC with 21" monitor. if your using 17" ot 15" monitor a 420 Watt unit should suffice. Either way two of these are less than $500 and well worth every penny. EVERY PC in my House is plugged into a UPS.

opti-ups.com

BTW: there website is currently NA. Dunno what was wrong with their last site....
