David....there is a problem here....in June of this year I had conveyed to you the idea that i didn't think the move up at that time was the beginning of a big bull move and that it was possibly an extended 'B' wave of the correction that started in the Spring.....and that we would soon experience a very sharp 'C' wave down to end a BIG ABC...

so as the decline thru August continued it looked like a real good read.....for the decline to be the 'C' wave, it has to be a 5 wave affair...and the 5th wave can not end on Oct 8th/9th because that would mean that the 4th wave was the rally in Sept. and since that rally overlapped into the territory of wave 1 it does not work.....
the only time that overlap can occur is in an ending diagonal..... and, to me, the whole move down from July 20th doesn't take on the appearance of a "C" wave that is an ending diagonal.......

so i'm thinking some else is happening here and i'll throw som alternatives your way to mull over, but i can't do it at this moment
