Good morning to you to! So that number quoted was for only 144-Mbit DRAM? I took it to mean that total global sales for DIRECT RDRAM would equal the US$13.5 billion in sales.

"In all, Samsung expects total available market for 128- and 144-Mbit DRAM to reach 60 million units in 1999. By itself, Direct RDRAM will account for global sales of $2.6 billion next year and reach $13.5 billion in 2000, according to the company."

My head is starting to swim in all these numbers!

That $13.5 billion figure would equal about $230 million in royalties to RMBS for the year! @ 40% NPM = something like $3.50 a share in profits in the year 2000 .... Yes, yes in deed, something north of $10 a share in 2000 is starting to look very good.
