My early-morning newspaper reading has turned up an article on the side effects of Viagra that set me to thinking about the current market. That surprise rate cut that Greenspan gave us was a pretty potent little pill, but perhaps not really the best thing for the health of an aging bull. Incidentally, that news story, released by the Associated Press, states soberly: "An erection that lasts more than four hours requires medical attention." Imagine the scene in a busy Emergency Room . . .
