I started trading this year, hopefully for a living, and have trade confirms and monthly statements as my only records. It's really a mess because I don't quite understand the Confirms and statements enough to keep records on them, not sure how to keep trading records anyway. Should I wait until I get the 1099's from the brokerages, then get a CPA? I'm actually about 10K in the red so I don't think I owe any taxes, but I just don't know where to start. Any advise? Thanks.

Ron
