The Launch of Ben & Jerry's (r) Super Premium Ice Cream &
Frozen Yogurt
TORONTO, ONTARIO--Robert C. Harrison, President and C.E.O. of
Delicious Alternative Desserts Ltd. (D.A.D.) today announced that
its recent launch of Ben & Jerry's (r) Ice Cream and Frozen
Yogurt, 500 ml, into Canadian grocery stores is achieving
tremendous success. The super-premium line is now listed in 67
Loblaws Supermarkets in Ontario, with first orders being shipped
to stores in Toronto, Ottawa and Eastern Ontario. Ben & Jerry's
(r) 10 euphoric flavours are also now available at more than 50
A&P, Dominion, Super Fresh, and Ultra Food & Drug Stores in
Ontario; as well as Bruno's Fine Foods, Highland Farms, Kitchen
Table, Loeb, Longo's, Nortown Foods, Pusateri's, Sobey's and The
Barn.
D.A.D. is a Canadian public company trading under the stock symbol
DD on the Alberta Stock Exchange. The founders of D.A.D. are
three Canadian entrepreneurs - David Murray, Rob Harrison, and
Henry Morton - who teamed up to purchase Stoney Creek Dairy, a
69-year-old traditional ice cream maker near Hamilton. D.A.D.'s
founders raised capital to purchase the dairy and acquire a
license to manufacture and distribute Ben & Jerry's (r) from a
number of sophisticated Canadian institutional investors.

Horseshoe, and is currently expanding its distribution network
from coast-to-coast.
Vermont-based Ben & Jerry's Homemade, Inc. produces super premium
ice cream, ice cream novelties, low-fat ice cream, low-fat and
non-fat frozen yogurt, and sorbet using Vermont dairy products,
Vermont spring water, and high quality natural ingredients. Ben &
