MSFT's stance on Y2k has gone from "not our problem, just a mainframe thing" to "ok, we've got some issues with some of our products" to the latest news.

I believe they are acting in their own best interest (surprise), focusing on the small and medium size organization market. This group still needs alot of help, and business failures in this group could hurt them alot (along with the rest of the economy).

HP has announced a similar entrance into the Y2k consulting market, teaming with DDIM to train HP resellers to help SMEs (small to medium sized enterprises).

As for "no more Y2k's"--I know, I know, it's been a rough year since April for this group, but I think now is not the time to be backing off them. I think we're coming into a good period for them. IAIC seems to be a steal here, not much downside or big expectations built in at these levels.
