Dave, have you tried it with the turbo setting on in the CPU setup menu? This adds about 3%, thus 103mhz x 4.5 = 463.5 mhz. Mine have always worked at this if they work at 450. When this is enabled though, the POST test will still show 450, but it is running at 463.
Also you might try 112 mhz. My last chip from Malaysia is marked SL32A and runs rock solid at 112 at 2.2 volts. 112 x 4.5 = 504mhz. Cooling is still no problem, runs around 33 - 34 degrees centigrade. At 504 it is plenty snappy. I have been running stable for 4 or 5 weeks now.
FWIW, at 463 the benchmarks show it slightly better than a PII 450, at 504 it is quite a bit faster. Let me know how it goes.
