I spoke with Paul Baker (IR contact) at the Pru conference a few weks ago and he was dropping hints that when they report earnings that their asian business will show sequential improvement for the first time since the world melted down. Other noteworthy guidance is that they feel they have the best earnings visibility they have had in a year, and I would expect the next few quarters to be in the bag. I think that $2.62 EPS number will ratchet up over $2.80 the next few months and am looking for a mid 20's multiple giving us a little more upside here.

Lucent's long awaited competitve product looks like a bit of a dud and Kobi is no doubt giving thanks for that. Comverse's/Boston's R&D effort has us on the leading edge of some very interesting things that will roll out the next few years.

Tomorrow I will give thanks that I own over a half million shares for my clients and will raise a toast to management. I guess you can call that excited.
