Put your mouse on the top left hand corner of the text & then run the mouse down the full length of the text while bearing down on the left mouse button. When you have highlighted the text, press down control on your keyboard & whilst holding down control hit c on the keyboard. This will effectively save the text.

To transfer the text to a post hit control v.
