You're right, Roger -- the newer version [which wouldn't choke on sp500] emailed** to some of us on 11/22 still hasn't made it to the web.
The web version was much faster than the one first sent me, but I don't recall much of a speedup with the newest version which [on my 2x200MMX w 128MB] runs the Bollinger Bands filter, for example, 36 sec on a 1137-member list vs 204 sec on its 10572-member qp-stocks.
Those times are, however, with fast SCSI drives and the qpbeta.

** "Here is another program file. It will read mutual funds and QP lists. To use QP lists, just point the TFP list folder to QP2Data\Lists. One thing, within TFP you can only edit lists of less than 32K. The list files in QP2 can be larger than that. TFP will work with them OK, but you just cannot use TFP to edit them.
This program is changed so it requires a list file for each QP data folder. If you choose one of the standard ones, TFP will create the list if it is not there. If it is there, it does not have to go through this task. Hopefully, we can tune this process so it can be quicker than the old method. Regards, Clay"
