Regarding the MDT divestiture: As I read it, MDT sold off only the non-coronary stent business. Am I reading something that isn't there? Does MDT have other coronary stent business which is unaffected by this.

I also find it odd that a private company is buying it. I am not too confident of my next statement but will make it with that disclaimer: It sounds like a give-away or bailout of losing operation. Private companies (based on my experience, I own one) don't have access to the levels of capital that public ones have. Generally private ones build up with low levels of liquidity to try to become public so as to become liquid. This is going backward for Intravascular Therapeutics unless they were paid to take it away. Pure speculation on my part, make your own conclusions.

Regards, happy thanksgiving.
