Would not expect a news release re above until Monday.But having said that ,we haven't a clue what Anvil will do as we are losing faith that even they know what they are doing.Thank goodness for Cordelle and Whalen. We still feel this is a great play and will be a big winner over the next year or so.But that is in spite of Anvil management.We have been supportive of their strategies in the past but are disappointed in their recent decisions [since the discovery well hit],More experienced oil and gas expertise on the Board and a change in the present Lenec attitude is necessary.
Due to time constraints for the major PP and mid December slow down for Xmas do not see them starting to drill the next Target well until January.What a waste of valuable time.Anvil will say ,so what, we will make money from the gas when we get it out of the ground.No concept of the time factor in money not being available.Look at the price of their last PP to see what we mean.
Stock should firm as the flow[both gas and cash] is reported over the next 2 months plus the added expectation bonus of the second Target well[we have more info on that from Cordelle but will not post now].
Its only a matter of patience as they drill and produce more flow but with Anvil, success seems to be a drag on their momentum.Hope we aren't too hard on them and they will get their act together.
