Wallstreeter, I didn't see that one, however I did see the one in Time. Couple of comments;
GKI made a strategic error going to Commdex, as any trade coverage was likely to focus on their product (average from the Bloomberg article) or company, which did happen with Bloomberg's comparison to other educational/training companies exposing the absence of proven products, the past track record and high market cap.
I understand they are spending 1.5mil in the print media to promote ATW80M, IMO this is an effective way to sell stock in GKI (managements no 1 objective) and bring in new buyers as anyone who would buy the CD isn't puter or web literate and likely wouldn't know where to start to find out about GKI.
Right now I'm out of GKI can't point to a likely direction that the stock will take. Potential upside exists due to the potential new buyers will be brought into GKI through their print ad's for ATW80M and the fact the market seems to be heads towards speculative frenzy, particularly as it relates to anything related to the internet. However there is no doubt in my mind that GKI will eventually head to the 1-3 range and ultimatly lower, however I think it will take either negative PR (ie Asensio hitting on this one) or a downturn in the market. In the meantime I think GKI could get the stock to 7-9 1/2 again which is my tarket range to reenter. Of course a lot depends on the atmospher and direction of the general market. In other words staying short at 4 poises some short term risk (make sure you have 3X for available margin) and is otherwise dead money untill something negative hits.
I'd rather bet that it will pop again and reenter at a higher price than sit at 4 and wait till 2 1/2. However I wouldn't go long on this one due to the lack of any underlying value in this company.
IMHO Good luck, Mike
