AGPH says the price of Viracept is $5913/yr (recent 4% increase "to support research into other AIDS treatments"). In my post 5414, I stated that I was told that the retail price was $7885/yr. Margie then stated that the price was $5650/yr. I just checked again with the major pharmacies in San Diego and the price of Viracept is $605.35/mos (270 tabs/bottle) or $7264/yr retail to the cash paying customer. IMO, not only is AGPH making big bucks on Viracept, but so are the pharmacies. The price of the HIV drugs are just completely out of control and too expensive.
