Ted:

Two points:

First, the name of two of PINC's resellers were given....
Walmart and compusa per...

"... If only we had something to sell them that would get them up and going on e-commerce...is what retailers like compusa and Walmart have told us (actually our resellers)..."

Rather than base your well worded, yet easily misconstrued as biased,
report based on frequent correspondence... "via email" ..." with a manager at a Best Buy retail store in the Phoenix area", why don't you do additional analysis by contacting the national offices of walmart and compusa and then either confirm or refute the validity of your first and only source.

One could easily make an opposite observation about the quality of your source of information....

namely and IMO....."he's completely clueless"..

I base my opinion on my own experiences. I own several small businesses as well as have a number of clients, who like myself, would love to have such a product if it was all that it was cracked up to be, to get up and running with our storefronts (shingles)on the internet.

I'd also suggest that Planet City even contact professional organizations as potential distributors of their product, like the BAR and AIA of which I'm a member.

Again I refer you to the December 7th issue of Fortune magazine which has on its cover:

INTERNET OR BUST

and a major in-depth article on how the internet is "revolutionizing" the way business is done

Please read that before you make any other assertions such as you made about the need for accessible e-commerce tools so you don't further diminsh my former high regard for your insights.

++Second, I think it is very unreasonable to expect someone else to request a product for you for free to review. If I have to explain myself or defend myself from you or others concerning my position on this issue, than I may chose not to have any further correspondence with you, and will wait for "that one big review" that will undermine all the slanted assertions of PINC's detractors on this thread.
