But, what is your point?

The important thing, as far as RDRAM is concerned, is that it will be used on the client side (as there could be hundreds and maybe even thousands of clients for each server) to advantage.

The point that it is marginally, if at all, effective on the server side is not really important at this time. However, I would think, that for the kind of dollars people spend on the server side - they would be seeking any advantage in performance they could get.
