You suggested that I contact the national offices of Walmart and CompUSA to confirm or refute the validity of my first and only source. Well, did you do the same? Did you call Walmart and CompUSA to confirm or refute the claims of PINC?

I wasn't questioning their claims. What I was doing was questioning the question.

I have a long standing personal relationship with my source, and have no reason whatsoever to believe he'd mislead me about the current marketplace. He will neither gain nor lose anything by telling me his observations. Can you say the same about your source? I doubt it.

Like I said in my original post, I'm wondering what the question was. It wasn't an attempt to denigrate PINC in any way. I was just curious how they got that answer. Or, to be more acurate with respect to your post, how their resellers got that answer.

I made no assertions, as far as I can tell, other than commenting that I was NOT saying that E-Commerce had no future.

On your 2nd point, I don't think it's out of line to ask whether there is a way to get a free copy of the product to evaluate. I'll be spending my time looking at the product, and sharing my evaluation with the readers of this thread. What's so wrong with their sharing with me what they've already spent time finding out? If nobody knows, then fine. I'll do it the hard way.
