We are assuming here that all her focus was on her studies as she got pregnant? Wonder what she was studying?

Oh yes it is very obvious that education much more important than life here. I know mothers that are attending college. Hard? You bet, but they chose that route when they chose to "get pregnant" ANd they accept it.

The alternative would be for some agency, ideally a private foundation run by the moral or conscientous objectors to the availability of abortion - to guarantee adoptive placement in a good home

I can not speak for around the world, but in the US there are many that do that.

Then our high school senior gets her life back - for the price of an unwanted and very humbling pregnancy. betcha she won't engage in risk behavior again... until she wants a child!

It is a truth that some high school seniors have no business raising any child, but surely not impossible. I know of two ladies personally that are raising children and going to high school, and are very good mothers. Unfortunately it is the MEN(boys) in these cases who ignore responsibility. It takes two to tango.

Still best birth control?? Just say NO! (both)
