Share Volume ... There's some dispute about the Nasdaq's high volume figures, which count trades by market makers as well as those by customers (from glossary on www.thestreet.com)

I didn't know - thanks for the lesson. I guess that since most trades will go through the market maker as intermediary then the volume count is incremented when they buy and again when they sell onward?

Anyway, assuming now that Creaf has only picked up a million or so to date then why are they holding off? Playing around to pick up the odd 100K shares a buck cheaper does not make sense to me. Unless they think
a) the shares are getting overpriced (I hope not yet!)
b) there is going to be a substantial downturn soon and they are keeping a big reserve for that (sounds a bit too speculative given their objectives)
c) they are doing a private deal with Ng on the side.

Any other reasons you can think of?
